What is the history of the building?

The building was formally a barn and garage, originally built in the 1980's as a stable for horses. Owner Tim Cheney looked past the dirt floors and caving roof and saw potential in the space. After a nine month renovation, the building is now a lively and inviting two story venue for dining and community events.

The head chef is Judd Velez, who brings over 38 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Chef Velez believes that quality is a top priority and strives to use the best and freshest ingredients possible.

Medicini serves a range of authentic Italian fare, from comfort-food dishes and fresh salads, to pizza and more refined pasta dishes. Portions are generous.

Medicni is a Gluten-Friendly restaurant. Though we try our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility and cross contamination may occur. We take precautions, but we cannot guarantee any item is 100% free of gluten.  Please inform your server of any dietary restrictions (e.g., Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Allergies). No, Medicini does not charge a cover for events. Live music and entertainment are part of the Medicini experience and do not require a separate cover charge.
